Onion Rings

2 lg onions, sliced 1/4 inch

1 C vegetable oil


Dry ingredients

1/4 C brown rice                          2 tbsp all purpose flour, gf

2 tbsp tapioca                              2 tbsp corn starch

1 tsp baking powder                   1 tsp salt

1 tsp sugar


wet ingredients

1 1/2 C milk                                1/4 C vegetable oil

1 large egg


Mix all the dry ingredients together.  In a separate bowl whisk 

together the wet ingredients.  Pour the wet ingredients into the 

dry ingredients.  Dunk the onion slices into the batter and carefully

put them in the hot oil.  Once golden brown, remove onion rings

 from oil and put on paper towel.  Enjoy!
